About The Position

C Harper Collision is growing!!! We have a job opening for a Body Shop Collision Estimator at a brand-new location opening soon in New Alexandria, PA at our Chevrolet East Sore location. Job duties is to perform all-purpose duties, which may include, but not limited to: Writing estimates, conducting process reviews, checking in customer vehicles, completing final customer paperwork prior to vehicle delivery (DRP, final invoice), and providing post repair plan communication including all vehicle status updates to customers while complying with all company and insurance safety rules, guidelines and standards. The Estimator’s primary responsibility and accountability is to provide an exceptional and successful customer experience while creating estimates, coordinating repair needs for customers including all communication, informing and updating customers and insurance companies throughout the repair process. Duties also to include handling supplements, sublet scheduling required, assist parts department for body shop and coordinate all necessary repairs required to properly restore a vehicle to pre-loss condition. The Estimator will accurately assess the damage of vehicles and documents if needed repairs and parts replacement on the damage appraisal. The Estimator plays a pivotal role in the success of the customer’s experience. Unlimited career future growth potential.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of collision estimating experience; sales experience also preferred
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage under our company insurance policy
  • Must possess a PA Motor Vehicle Physical Damage Appraisers License
  • Ability to do consistent physical activity reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs
  • Must have prior experience with CCC1 or similar estimating software
  • You have an advance understanding and knowledge of the repair process/procedures
  • Strong sales orientation
  • Be able to understand instructions written and verbal
  • Can prioritize competing tasks and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment
  • Be Self sufficient and able to work independently
