About The Position
Bergstrom Body Shop of Madison is seeking a Full Time Body Shop Apprentice/Paint Prep Technician. This role involves working with an experienced body shop painter to learn the intricacies of collision repair. Responsibilities include preparing vehicles for body repair, performing basic body repair as skills develop, and assisting with the reinstallation of refinished parts.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an auto body program either in high school or a technical college, OR graduated from a technical college with an automotive collision repair degree
- Valid driver's license with a reputable record
- Upbeat and positive personality
- Active listening skills
- Ability to provide excellent guest service
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to build relationships with team members and guests
Responsibilities
- Preparing vehicles for body repair work
- Perform basic body repair work as knowledge and skills allow
- Help reinstall refinished parts on vehicles
