The Entry-Level Body & Paint Technician assists the collision center team with vehicle repairs, paint preparation, cosmetic restoration, and shop support functions. The ideal candidate is dependable, motivated to learn, detail-oriented, and interested in developing technical automotive repair skills.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Strong attention to detail and work ethic
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

Nice To Haves

• Automotive or technical school experience is a plus
• Prior shop or automotive experience preferred but not required
• Familiarity with hand tools and shop equipment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Interest in pursuing collision repair certifications

Responsibilities

• Assist body technicians and painters with vehicle repair and refinishing processes
• Perform sanding, masking, buffing, and paint preparation work
• Support minor body repairs and cosmetic touch-ups under supervision
• Prepare vehicles and parts for paint and refinishing
• Maintain clean and organized workspaces, tools, and equipment
• Follow manufacturer repair procedures and safety standards
• Assist with moving vehicles and maintaining shop flow
• Participate in ongoing technical and safety training
