About The Position

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Metal Technician for the Bob Johnson Buick GMC South Collision Center. In this position you will be asked to disassemble and discover all damages to damaged vehicles and complete the repairs needed to return the vehicle back to it's original condition. This will include straightening and repairing sheet metal, welding on new panels and components, using frame equipment, fixing plastic parts, and the reassembly of vehicles. You must be able to work well around others and be adaptable to our changing environment. Sign-on bonus of up to $5000

Requirements

• You must be able to disassemble, recognize and diagnose damages to collision vehicles as well as perform those repairs using OEM procedures.
• You must have knowledge of welding
• You must be able to repair metal and plastic components on all makes and models of vehicles.
• You must have an up to date NYS drivers license.

Nice To Haves

• I-Car certifications being a big plus
