About The Position
This position involves online and offline robot and PLC programming for BPE machines. Responsibilities include equipment installation, confirmation of client body weld standards on new installations and model changes, and verification of all safety devices and equipment for production activity in the body weld shop. The role requires travel to all North American manufacturing companies (NAMCs) in North America, primarily supporting plants in Kentucky, Alabama, Mississippi, and Canada, but also assisting with heavy project workloads at other NAMCs including TMMI, TMMGT, TABC, and TMMTX. The expectation is to learn and understand BPE standards, set up equipment, train NAMC maintenance personnel on new equipment, and assist with production through the Start of Production (SOP). Troubleshooting of electrical control systems is also a key part of this role.
