About The Position

The Boathouse Server is responsible for exceeding guest expectations in food and beverage by providing the highest level of consistent professional service. Servers, with the support of additional staff, will ensure proper setup of the server station and work areas as assigned and provide timely serving of food and beverage to all their guests. Additionally, Servers will assist in the preparation and set up for the next meal period/next day as needed. Servers work with a teamwork mentality by offering support to all other colleagues in the restaurant.

Requirements

• Must be 18 or older.
• Must be available for a minimum of three (3) shifts per week.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, co-workers, and management.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to resolve customer issues or complaints.
• Must be able to perform multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently.
• Must have excellent working knowledge of liquors, beers, and wine.
• Ability to obtain any government required license or certificate.
• Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50lbs.
• Regularly required to talk or hear.
• Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Must frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred.
• Experience in food & beverage service within a hotel/resort setting is a plus!
