The Boat Manager supervises the Boat & ATV Department within a BPS or Free-Standing Store location, overseeing sales, finance, service, parts, merchandise presentation, inventory control, pricing, sales enhancements, staff selection and development, and customer service activities. This role involves supporting a strong commitment to world-class customer service, ensuring a pleasant and productive shopping experience, and meeting or exceeding all financial plans. The manager is responsible for executing sales plans, exhibiting high standards of leadership, and coaching Outfitters to achieve their potential. Key duties include managing inventory, maintaining product presentation standards, staffing the department with service-oriented associates, and resolving customer and associate issues to improve NPS scores. The position also entails supervisory responsibilities such as interviewing, hiring, training, performance evaluation, scheduling, and motivating associates. The Boat Manager is expected to maintain the facility to company standards and provide a legendary experience for every customer by assisting with buying decisions and promoting programs like CLUB Membership. Additionally, the role requires maintaining the TMBC shop and service area in accordance with company policies.
