About The Position

Established Marine Towing and Salvage company is seeking a deckhand to assist with towing, launch, salvage, maintenance and other tasks. We promote from within, deckhands become patrol captains so please do not apply unless this is your ultimate goal. Our Mission TowBoatU.S. Ft Lauderdale has been in business since 1989 and has performed thousands of successful towing, salvage and marine assistance operations over the years. While conducting our daily business, we are an active advocate and leader in the marine community lending our support to local law enforcement and U.S. Coast Guard in search and rescue efforts as a public service to all boaters. • Currently have a USCG Captain’s license or the desire, sea time and other qualifications to become a Captain in the near future
• Current driver’s license
• Valid passport

• Scuba certification
• Good vessel maintenance skills
• Previous experience at sea
• Experience with cranes and heavy loads
