About The Position

We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented incumbents to help keep the marina’s fleet in top condition. You’ll ensure houseboats are clean, safe, and welcoming for guests before check-in and after check-out.

Requirements

• Possess reliable transportation.
• Prior cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred but not always required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Ability to lift cleaning supplies and move around boats safely.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to help with various tasks

• Knowledge of APM marina services and amenities.
• Skills which allow for the tactful resolution of guest problems or concerns.
• Knowledge or ability to be trained in fire extinguisher operation.
• Knowledge or ability to be trained in ISO/EMS awareness.
• Knowledge or ability to be trained in employee orientation.
• Knowledge or ability to be trained in hazard communication.
• Knowledge or ability to be trained in hazardous materials response/respiratory protection.
• Knowledge or ability to be trained in emergency response.

Responsibilities

• Replenish supplies, such as toilet paper, toilet chemicals, linens or other houseboat items
• Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, to and from storage facility to houseboats

• Clean rooms, hallways, restrooms, decks of houseboats
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and draperies using vacuum cleaners and shampooers
• Wash dishes, and clean kitchens, cooking utensils, barbecue grills and silverware
• Possess the ability to react productively to other duties as reasonably assigned.
