About The Position

At Capgemini Engineering, the world leader in engineering services, we bring together a global team of engineers, scientists, and architects to help the world’s most innovative companies unleash their potential. From autonomous cars to life-saving robots, our digital and software technology experts think outside the box as they provide unique R&D and engineering services across all industries. Join us for a career full of opportunities. Where you can make a difference. Where no two days are the same. This is a remote role in the USA. This role is responsible for developing and optimizing embedded graphics solutions on multi-core platforms, leveraging technologies such as OpenGL and DEOS. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of processor, memory, and cache architectures, with expertise in analyzing shared resource utilization and system performance across CPUs, GPUs, and other hardware components. They will perform Worst-Case Execution Time (WCET) analysis, accounting for resource contention and interference from I/O subsystems, GPUs, SSDs, FPGAs, and other shared resources to ensure deterministic real-time performance. Experience with DEOS or similar real-time operating systems, including cache partitioning and resource isolation techniques, is highly desirable. Familiarity with FAA AC 20-193 guidance for multi-core processor certification and experience with Epic DEOS are considered strong advantages.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
  • Graphic Processing Unit (GPU Drivers) experience
  • Device driver development experience
  • Linux operating system environment experience
  • Arm Based Controllers experience
