About The Position

KRLD-AM (Audacy Dallas) is looking for an individual with broadcasting experience to fill a position as part time board operator. This role is responsible for running the broadcast board, including digital editing, recording, and maintaining network feeds. The position also involves protecting the company’s FCC license, monitoring and log keeping for additional radio stations, and potentially performing light production work. The board operator will run the control board, adhering to station format, and arranging and playing commercials and IDs according to program and commercial logs, while following all applicable laws and FCC regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years previous experienced preferred.
• Familiarity with station format required.
• Ability to manipulate knobs, levers and push buttons.
• Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

• Previous on-air experience a plus.

Responsibilities
