About The Position

Pride Foundation is seeking community members to join its Board of Directors through an open process designed to equitably evaluate prospects based on identified priorities and alignment with the organization's values. This process aims to reach beyond existing networks, offer the community an opportunity to self-identify interest, and build a sustainable pipeline for future board members. The application deadline is November 16, 2026. Alternate application formats like video or voice recordings are available upon request. The Board Development Committee will review applications in November and December, with finalist meetings scheduled for January and February. These meetings are intended to be informal conversations to get to know each other. The foundation is recruiting 2-3 new Board members and will evaluate prospects based on their lived and professional experience, alignment with the mission, vision, and values, and current board composition priorities. The full Board will review and approve new members in March 2027. All applicants will receive communication about the process and opportunities to stay involved if not selected. Questions about board service can be directed to Katie, CEO.
