About The Position
Dane Street is expanding its physician panel and seeking a skilled, board-certified Toxicologist in or willing to travel to Memphis, TN, to join their team for Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs). This role offers flexible scheduling, allowing physicians to select or decline assignments based on their availability. The physician panel consists of independent contract reviewers (1099) compensated on a per-case basis. Dane Street is a national leader in IMEs and peer review services, providing objective, high-quality medical evaluations for insurance carriers and organizations nationwide.
Requirements
- Board-certification required.
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication abilities
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in performing IMEs is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Thorough review of Medical Records
- Perform in-person evaluations of patients with work-related toxicology issues
- Respond to clinical queries to support claims management
- Deliver detailed IME reports within an expected turnaround time of 5 days
