About The Position

The practice emphasizes a culture of teamwork, personal care, prevention, and empathy. Marquis MD has received recognition for its rapid growth and influence in the business and health sectors. We are seeking a Board Certified Pediatrician to join Marquis MD Pediatrics. This role involves shaping the clinical culture, referral relationships, and care model of the practice. The ideal candidate will be clinically excellent, relationship-driven, and motivated to practice pediatrics with ample time for patients, continuity of care, and a small enough patient panel to foster deep understanding of each family. The practice serves members across Marquis Junior, Marquis Select Junior, and Marquis Black Junior tiers, all receiving the same high standard of care with variations in access and services.

Requirements

  • M.D. or D.O. from an accredited institution.
  • Board Certification in Pediatrics (ABP or AOA).
  • Active and unrestricted Florida medical license, or eligibility and commitment to obtain prior to launch.
  • DEA registration.
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical pediatric experience post-residency.
  • BLS and PALS certification.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in concierge, direct primary care, membership-based, or private practice settings.
  • Clinical relationships in the OB/GYN, neonatology, or pediatric specialist community in Palm Beach or Broward County.
  • Sub-specialty depth in adolescent medicine, developmental pediatrics, integrative pediatric health, or pediatric nutrition.
  • Demonstrated patient satisfaction and communication excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive primary care to a limited, curated panel of pediatric members from newborn through adolescence across all membership tiers.
  • Conduct well-child visits, developmental and behavioral screenings, acute illness evaluations, chronic disease management, and adolescent care with appointment times that reflect the complexity of the visit.
  • Build and maintain genuine physician-family relationships, knowing patients by name, history, and circumstance.
  • Provide direct physician access to members via secure messaging, with same-day and next-day appointment availability as the standard.
  • Deliver the Marquis Select Junior 90-minute comprehensive annual well-child visit, including advanced developmental screening, nutritional assessment, and sleep consultation.
  • For Marquis Black Junior members: facilitate physician-to-physician calls with all specialists, be available for house calls (Palm Beach County), and provide accompaniment support during hospitalizations when appropriate.
  • Conduct in-house phlebotomy oversight and rapid point-of-care testing (strep, flu, RSV, COVID, bilirubin, glucose).
  • Coordinate specialist referrals with close-loop communication and be reachable by referring specialists.
  • Actively build and maintain referral relationships with OB/GYNs, neonatologists, pediatric specialists, private schools, and community partners.
  • Contribute to the clinical standards, protocols, and care model of Marquis MD Pediatrics.
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the practice EMR.
