Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) Our clients are looking for BCBA services in Halifax and the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) to implement behaviour plans and programming based on ABA principles and guidelines. We are looking for BCBA's with interests and experience in various populations, writing Behaviour Support Plans and Safety Plans, working with high-risk interfering behaviours and conducting functional analyses. You would be an ideal candidate if you thrive in a collaborative, client-centred environment and have demonstrated skills and an interest in working with youth and pediatric populations.

Requirements

  • Registration as a BCBA with the Behaviour Analyst and Certification Board (BACB) is an asset
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree or in a University program related to Behavioural Science, Applied Behaviour Analysis, Psychology, or Early Childhood Development
  • Proof of Professional Liability Insurance, or willingness to obtain
  • Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training within the last 5 years is considered an asset
  • Valid Drivers License and access to a reliable vehicle with a willingness to travel within the community and to clients homes
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work both independently and as a part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience managing caseloads, budgeting appropriately, arranging schedules, and leading team meetings considered an asset
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
  • Valid Standard First Aid and CPR level C certification
  • Criminal Record & Vulnerable Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
