Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) Our clients are looking for Behaviour Analysts to provide ABA services in Halifax and the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) to support our clients through the implementation of behaviour plans and programming grounded in ABA principles and best practices. We are looking for BCBA's with experience and interest in working with diverse populations, developing Behaviour Support and Safety Plans, supporting individuals with high-risk interfering behaviours, and conducting functional analyses. You would be an ideal candidate if you thrive in a collaborative, client-centred environment and have demonstrated skills and an interest in working with youth and pediatric populations.

Requirements

  • Registered as a BCBA with the Behaviour Analyst Certification Board (BACB) is a requirement.
  • Proof of Professional Liability Insurance, or willingness to obtain.
  • Valid Drivers License and access to a reliable vehicle with a willingness to travel within the community and to clients homes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work both independently and as a part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Valid Standard First Aid and CPR level C certification.
  • Criminal Record & Vulnerable Sector Check (within the last 6 months).

Nice To Haves

  • Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training within the last 5 years is considered an asset.
  • Experience managing caseloads, budgeting appropriately, arranging schedules, and leading team meetings considered an asset.
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
