SpringHealth Behavioral Health and Integrated Care provides behavioral and therapeutic support services to consumers. This includes assessment, evaluation, training and education, program planning, support services, and clinical services to consumers, families, and/or staff. The role involves conducting comprehensive assessments of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to evaluate behavior, skills, and needs. It also includes developing individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), designing and implementing evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions, and continuously monitoring and adjusting treatment plans. The BCBA will apply ABA techniques to improve social, communication, academic, and daily living skills, and implement strategies to reduce maladaptive behaviors. Data collection and analysis on behavior and progress are crucial for evaluating intervention effectiveness and making data-driven decisions. The role requires maintaining detailed records, preparing reports, and educating/supporting parents and caregivers. Collaboration with other professionals, supervision of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and adherence to ethical guidelines are also key components. The BCBA will stay current with developments in behavior analysis and autism treatment, manage crisis situations, and complete daily clinical documentation within SpringHealth’s EHR. Additionally, the role involves assisting in developing training materials for staff to enhance client programs and ensure compliance with guidelines, and completing monthly & quarterly notes outlining client progression.
