About The Position

Beacon Specialized Living provides residential-based services and supports to children and adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, Autism, Severe Mental Illness, and high-acuity behavioral needs. The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) plays a key role in improving quality of life for the individuals we serve by promoting positive behaviors and reducing barriers to independence and success. In this role, you will conduct assessments, develop individualized behavior support plans, analyze data, train staff, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective, person-centered care.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
  • Current BCBA certification required
  • 1+ years of clinical experience (internship/practicum may be considered)
  • Experience supporting individuals with complex behavioral needs
  • Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with developmental disabilities and/or mental health populations preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
  • Develop and oversee Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs)
  • Monitor treatment progress through data collection and analysis
  • Provide clinical consultation to residential teams and leadership
  • Support crisis response planning and post-incident debriefing
  • Train and mentor staff on behavioral strategies and best practices
  • Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) as needed
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and case reviews
  • Build strong partnerships with community mental health agencies and stakeholders
  • Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation
