The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) assists the Clinical Director, the client, and their families in progress toward specific goals. This person completes functional behavior assessments and skill assessments, developing and monitoring behavior support plans and individualized treatment plans, completing progress reports, recording, and analyzing data, conducting staff training, providing on-sight monitoring, and working with a team of other professionals. The BCBA provides services to individuals impacted by a variety of behavioral health (addiction/substance use and mental health) issues, recognizing that the individuals served often times have experienced trauma that affects their development and adjustment. The BCBA demonstrates a warm and welcoming empathic, hopeful attitude, conveying a philosophy of dual recovery. The BCBA will be trained in trauma-informed care and will work to help provide services in an environment that is sensitive and responsive which will prevent victimization, abuse, or trauma as a result of the care received.
