About The Position
Ampersand Therapy is hiring Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) for a school-based position in Summerville, SC. This is a full-time position for the 2025-2026 school year, with the potential for renewal for the 2026-2027 school year. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 1.0 FTE. The role involves developing and implementing functional behavior intervention plans aligned with individual education programs (IEPs), designing crisis intervention plans, implementing data collection systems, and collaborating with school teams to set academic and behavioral targets. Ampersand Therapy is a women- and therapist-operated company focused on supporting clinicians and creating an inclusive workplace.
Requirements
- National BCBA Certification (Board Certified Behavior Analyst)
- Experience with behavior management, and data collection
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement functional behavior intervention plans aligned with individual education programs (IEPs)
- Design crisis intervention plans to ensure student safety
- Implement effective data collection systems for behavior goals
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, Special Services Directors, school teams, and educators to set academic and behavioral targets
- Support students with behavior challenges using evidence-based practices
