Requirements
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field
- One year of experience working with autism spectrum disorders and behavior change programs
- BCBA certification
- CPR certification
- Valley de-escalation certification
Nice To Haves
- Two years working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders or other disabilities and co-occurring health disorders
- Two years of experience with functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention plans
Responsibilities
- Conducts functional assessments of challenging behaviors for assigned clients.
- Designs, implements and evaluates behavioral support and intervention plans.
- Supports caregivers of clients with strategies for behavior support to maximize individual and familial functioning.
- Teaches and models behavior support techniques to caregivers and direct care staff.
- Provides clinical supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians and assigned clinical staff.
- Provides initial and ongoing Registered Behavior Technician training and competency assessment.
- Monitors implementation and documentation (programs, targets, data) for assigned Registered Behavior Technicians and other direct care staff.
- Meets direct care and documentation requirements for assigned caseload.
