About The Position

AHRC New York City is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for two of its Preschool locations. The BCBA will be responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services across AHRC’s preschools. This includes training and supervising staff, implementing outcome measures, and participating in educational planning meetings. The role involves supervising the development and implementation of ABA services, establishing data collection systems for performance measurement, and participating in meetings such as Child Study, IEP reviews, and Behavior Support planning. The BCBA will also lead Functional Analysis processes and must be willing to travel to school sites regularly.

Requirements

  • Masters in Special Education, Social Work or related Human Services field.
  • BCBA Certification required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in providing and/or supervising ABA service programs and staff.
  • Must be willing to travel to school sites on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise development and implementation of ABA services in agency's programs to ensure overall quality and consistency in service provision.
  • Establish consistent data collection systems, to use for measuring, analyzing and creating reports on academic, social and behavioral performance.
  • Participate in Child Study meetings, IEP reviews, Behavior Support planning and parent clinics, whenever needed.
  • Provide expert supervision to staff on an individual or group level, based on ongoing and current knowledge of theory, research and best practices in the field of developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorders.
  • Lead Functional Analysis processes as required.
  • Ensure quality and consistency in providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services across AHRC’s preschools through training and supervision of staff, implementing quantitative and qualitative outcome measures, and participating in various educational planning meetings, as needed.
