About The Position

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for in-person roles for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year. This position is for the East Aurora School District and focuses on coaching and supporting school staff, developing and monitoring behavior intervention plans, and providing safety plans for students exhibiting aggressive/self-injurious behaviors. The BCBA will collaborate with Special Services Directors and multidisciplinary teams, set and support academic and behavioral goals, create teacher-friendly data collection systems, and share weekly progress updates with teams and stakeholders. This role does not include RBT supervision.

Requirements

  • Must hold a valid BCBA license in Illinois
  • School-based experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and data-driven decision-making skills
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Passionate about supporting students with diverse needs

Responsibilities

  • Coach and support school staff
  • Develop and monitor behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Provide safety plans for students exhibiting aggressive/self-injurious behaviors
  • Collaborate with Special Services Directors and multidisciplinary teams
