About The Position

Join Butterfly Effects as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a center-based role in Columbia, SC. This position offers a flexible schedule, with 4 days in the center and 1 day working from home. BCBAs hold key leadership roles, and the organization upholds ethical, high-quality standards as a fully accredited BHCOE organization. They prioritize meaningful supervision, family involvement, and evidence-based ABA with no rigid quotas. On-the-ground support is provided by locally or regionally based clinical directors, and BCBAs have clinical autonomy to design customized treatment plans with access to tools, resources, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Stable growth paths to leadership positions are available, and there are no non-compete clauses. BCBAs earn above the national average with a base salary of $100,000 - $105,000 and quarterly performance bonuses up to $12,000 annually, for a total potential of up to $112,000.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Active BCBA certification from the BACB.
  • Passion for working with children and families affected by autism spectrum disorder.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee RBTs and BTs to ensure consistent, high-quality ABA service delivery.
  • Perform functional behavior assessments, develop individualized treatment goals, and create evidence-based intervention plans.
  • Lead monthly caregiver training sessions to build long-term family capacity.
  • Collaborate with therapists, educators, and other professionals for holistic client outcomes.
