This role involves conducting initial evaluations to determine appropriate programming, frequency, and therapy plans for clients. The BCBA will maintain comprehensive therapy plans, including long-range goals, short-range objectives, and progress evaluations. Responsibilities also include preparing required reports for insurance and parents/guardians, arranging parent meetings for communication and training, and providing a minimum of 10% direct and 10% indirect supervision per week for each client. Clinical supervisory responsibilities include providing assigned targeted caseload hours per week of direct therapy, maintaining timely professional documentation of clinical notes, and completing documentation for all pre-authorizations, initial evaluations, assessments, insurance reports, and progress reports.
