About The Position

ExcelPrep is a mission-driven private program serving neurodiverse children through structured, research-based instruction. Our mission is simple: prioritize the academic and social success of neurodiverse learners. We deliver high-quality academic and therapeutic programming that supports meaningful learning outcomes. ExcelPrep offers two distinct programs for learners ages 3-13: PreK–8 Academic Program: Direct Instruction and Precision Teaching for core academics (reading, writing, math) in a structured, data-driven environment. Clinical ABA Program (Ages 3–13): Cognition-linguistically based ABA focusing on language, reasoning, executive functioning, social competence, and independence. Across ExcelPrep, we center: Direct Instruction and instructional design Precision Teaching and data-based decision making Behavior science research foundations Occupational Therapy as a prioritized therapy alongside ABA for sensory-motor development Our mission is to provide a nurturing, academically focused learning environment where neurodiverse students develop strong academic foundations, cognitive-linguistic skills, and the confidence to succeed in school and beyond.

Requirements

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification; BCBA-D preferred
  • Minimum 3+ years of pediatric ABA experience; supervisory/leadership experience preferred
  • Experience with neurodiverse populations and sensory/motor considerations a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to design and supervise FBAs, BIPs, and skill acquisition programs
  • Proficiency with data collection, analysis, and progress reporting
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills; ability to work with families, teachers, OT staff, and administrators
  • Knowledge of DTT, naturalistic teaching strategies, PECS, and other ABA-based teaching modalities
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) or experience serving Spanish-speaking families is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor RBTs and ABA team members; conduct ongoing performance monitoring and supervision hours
  • Lead FBA, develop BIPs, and implement functional communication and social-competence strategies
  • Develop and refine skill acquisition plans; promote generalization and maintenance of skills
  • Integrate ABA services with ExcelPrep’s Direct Instruction and Precision Teaching framework
  • Collect, analyze, and graph data; use data to guide program decisions and progress reporting
  • Collaborate with families to support home strategies and carryover plans
  • Coordinate with OT and classroom staff to design accessible, sensory-friendly learning environments
  • Document services and maintain regulatory and school policy compliance
  • Contribute to program planning, annual goals, and measurable outcomes for students
