About The Position

April ABA is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join their team. This is a clinician-operated, clinician-owned, female, and veteran-run organization focused on supporting clinical systems so clinicians can concentrate on providing excellent clinical care to individuals with autism. The ideal candidate will have progressive views in behavior analytic services, collaborate effectively with others, and be dedicated to protecting ABA services and improving client outcomes. April ABA emphasizes work-life balance, clinician support, business acumen development through transparent data sharing, and a unique caseload structure that ensures clinicians do not exceed 25 billable hours per week. They also offer clinical growth opportunities through connections with field leaders for continuing education.

• Foundational clinical skills and ability to identify boundaries of competence.

• Strong supervision skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and re-assessment authorizations for clients on your caseload, adhering to insurance and organizational requirements and time frames.
• Meet billable hour requirements.
• Supervise and coach RBTs according to organizational and BACB standards.
• Adhere to the BACB Professional and Ethical Compliance Code.
• Implement clinical best practice standards set forth by the organization and other leading organizations (e.g., CASP, BHCOE).
• Build rapport with caregivers and provide education in treatment plan implementation.
• Coordinate care activities with all providers.
• Participate in supervision meetings with Directors to report on client progress.
