About The Position

At Easterseals PORT Health, we believe in more than just behavior plans—we believe in transforming lives. As a BCBA with our EMPOWER program, you’ll have the flexibility to shape your caseload, mentor dedicated teams, and see the real impact of your work in homes, schools, and communities across Eastern NC. This role includes a variable regional travel requirement, estimated at 20%–50% per month depending on program needs. While telehealth services are also provided, you will primarily travel to support EMPOWER sites: New Bern, Elizabeth City, Ahoskie, Greenville, Morehead City, Wilmington. All work-related travel is reimbursed via mileage pay, and, depending on cost-effectiveness, a travel vehicle may be provided. You’ll have flexibility to plan travel around program needs while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. We lead with ethics, compassion, and collaboration—not revenue targets. Requirements

  • Certification: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing
  • Licensure: Licensed Behavioral Analyst in NC
  • Strong written/verbal communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and unrestricted driving privileges
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office & EMR systems
  • Ability to work effectively with participants, families, and teams in homes, schools, and community settings

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years working with children with developmental disabilities and/or autism
  • 1+ years in a supervisory or leadership capacity

Responsibilities

  • Lead behavior support programs fostering family engagement & measurable growth.
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments & develop Positive Behavior Support Plans.
  • Train and mentor staff, DSPs, and supervisors in ABA best practices.
  • Collaborate across service lines (EMPOWER, ICS, ABA) to maximize outcomes.
  • Deliver in-service training & represent ESPH at professional conferences.
