Our qualified and professional team of BCBAs and RBTs use their years of expertise and knowledge to develop comprehensive ABA behavior treatment plans to improve the social, communication, adaptive living, and behavioral aspects of each individual client. POSITION DETAILS As a BCBA at Connect n Care, you will: Conduct functional and skill based assessments including Vineland, VB-MAPP, AFLS, etc Customize treatment plans to address the child’s deficits based on assessment results Work effectively with parents and conduct family training sessions to guide parents on continuing implementation Direct and effectively supervise Registered Behavior Technicians Organize, review, and maintain data collection for ABA programs Supervise ongoing ABA programs, assess their performance, and adjust as appropriate Develop behavior plans and programs to reduce problem behaviors and teach functional skills Collaborate with peers, leaders, and other team members Some of the areas you will address with your client may include: Language acquisition Functional communication training Social skills training Daily living skills Decreasing maladaptive behaviors Community safety skills Toilet training Executive function training

Requirements

  • Current certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Minimum 2 years experience working with the ASD population
  • Experience supervising BCBA candidates and RBTs
  • Experience with various assessment tools including Vineland, VB-MAPP, and AFLS
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • MUST HAVE VA BCBA LICENSE, LIVE IN THE STATE OF VA OR CLOSE ENOUGH TO SEE CLIENTS IN PERSON 1X MO.

Nice To Haves

  • At least 1 year of home-based ABA experience is highly preferred

Responsibilities
