About The Position

Autism Behavioral Center (ABC) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join Team ABC as a Per Diem Social Skills BCBA. We are looking for clinicians who are passionate about facilitating group social dynamics, building peer connections, and delivering high-quality, ethical ABA services while enjoying the flexibility to build a caseload that fits their schedule and professional goals. Our BCBAs receive ongoing clinical collaboration and mentorship while maintaining the autonomy to choose the size of their caseload and availability. Autism Behavioral Center's mission is to improve independence and social awareness for individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder while supporting and empowering their families. We provide individualized, evidence-based services including one-to-one in-home ABA therapy, center-based services, social skills groups, and community programming. Every program is thoughtfully designed to meet the unique needs of each client and family. The Per Diem Social Skills BCBA provides clinical assessment, curriculum design, session oversight, group facilitation, and caregiver consultation for clients participating in center- and community-based social skills programs.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field.
  • Active BCBA certification.
  • Current LABA or ability to obtain Massachusetts licensure.
  • Required Availability: Friday afternoons and Saturdays.
  • Demonstrated experience design-leading, facilitating, or overseeing social skills groups and peer-mediated interventions.
  • Experience collaborating with parents and caregivers.
  • Strong clinical judgment, group management, organization, and communication skills.
  • Commitment to ethical, compassionate, and assent-based ABA practices.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and oversee structured social skills groups tailored to varying age groups, developmental levels, and social profiles.
  • Conduct social skill assessments (e.g., PEAK, AFLS, Social Savvy, or crest-based group assessments) and intake evaluations for new group participants.
  • Develop individualized behavior intervention and social skill acquisition plans focused on peer interaction, conversational skills, emotional regulation, and group cooperation.
  • Provide direct clinical supervision, coaching, and mentorship to Behavior Technicians and ABA Coordinators running social groups.
  • Ensure Friday afternoon and Saturday social skills sessions run smoothly, safely, and maintain high client engagement.
  • Monitor client progress through group data collection and continuous assessment.
  • Complete documentation in accordance with insurance and regulatory requirements.
  • Educate and collaborate with parents and caregivers using compassionate, assent-based ABA practices to support generalization at home and in community settings.
  • Maintain consistent communication with families through supervision, email, and phone.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Director and interdisciplinary team to support client outcomes and refine group curricula.
