About The Position

Join Butterfly Effects as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a Center Based role in Cary, NC. This position involves 4 days in the center and 1 day of work from home. Butterfly Effects is a BCBA-led organization dedicated to providing unmatched support, professional growth, and a family-centric approach to children with autism spectrum disorder. Led by Dr. Steve Woolf, PhD, BCBA-D and Molly McGinnis, M.Ed., BCBA, the organization prioritizes making a socially meaningful change in the lives of children and families. They are a fully accredited BHCOE organization upholding BACB guidelines and prioritizing meaningful supervision, family involvement, and evidence-based ABA with no rigid quotas. They offer on-the-ground support with locally or regionally based clinical directors, clinical autonomy to design customized treatment plans, and stable growth paths to leadership roles. There are no non-compete clauses.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Active BCBA certification from the BACB.
  • Passion for working with children and families affected by autism spectrum disorder.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee RBTs and BTs to ensure consistent, high-quality ABA service delivery.
  • Perform functional behavior assessments, develop individualized treatment goals, and create evidence-based intervention plans.
  • Lead monthly caregiver training sessions to build long-term family capacity.
  • Collaborate with therapists, educators, and other professionals for holistic client outcomes.

  • Base Salary: $90,000 - $100,000
  • Performance Bonus: Quarterly incentives up to $12,000 annually
