About The Position

SimplyEuro is hiring a BMW Level 4 Technician for their Plano, TX location. This position is for technicians who want to diagnose and repair BMWs correctly, using specialized tools and software. The role involves diagnosing and repairing complex electrical issues, vehicle networks, engine performance, transmission concerns, chassis systems, hybrid technology, ADAS calibrations, and the latest BMW vehicle platforms. Technicians are treated as trusted professionals, not just parts changers, and are supported by an internal diagnostic and programming team called Alloy Techs.

Requirements

• Physically capable of performing tasks that involve grasping, pushing, pulling, lifting (including items over 50 pounds), bending, and reaching overhead.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, typically up to 8 hours.
• Ability to maintain a fast-paced work rhythm for extended durations.
• Confidence in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of BMW systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex electrical issues.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle networks.
• Diagnose and repair engine performance issues.
• Diagnose and repair transmission concerns.
• Diagnose and repair chassis systems.
• Diagnose and repair hybrid technology.
• Perform ADAS calibrations.
• Work with BMW's latest vehicle platforms.
• Perform factory programming, coding, and software updates.
• Utilize BMW ISTA+ diagnostic and programming software.
• Use factory BMW service information and wiring diagrams.
• Follow OEM repair procedures and technical documentation.
• Use BMW special service tools designed specifically for OEM repairs.
• Use OEM-approved diagnostic equipment.
• Utilize modern alignment equipment.
• Perform battery programming and vehicle registration.
• Assist teammates and contribute to a positive culture.
