About The Position

BMW of Wilmington, a Penske Automotive Group dealership, is looking for a tech-savvy BMW Genius to join our dealership team and deliver extraordinary customer service experiences. Our BMW Geniuses are a critical part of the customer experience at our dealership. BMW Geniuses, also known as Product Specialists, are responsible for preparing customer vehicles for delivery, explaining the benefits and features of vehicles, and providing additional dealership sales support as required. This is a great opportunity for an individual with an interest in customer service, strong technical skills, and the desire to grow their career.

Responsibilities

• Preparing customer vehicles for delivery
• Explaining the benefits and features of vehicles
• Providing additional dealership sales support as required
• Establish personal sales and income goals and implement a plan of action to achieve goals
• Effectively promote the value and benefits of products and services using multiple communications methods, adjusting communication style as required
• Understand, keep abreast of, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that impact retail automotive sales
• Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Process data and organize it for management analysis
• Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
• Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
• Understand and follow work rules and procedures
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
• Work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
• Interact well with others
