This role performs electric and electronic advanced maintenance inspections, diagnosis and corrective actions, performing systematic analysis of problems and improvement opportunities, in a safe and efficient manner according to applicable procedures and best practices, complying with defined quality standards.

Requirements

Diagnose and repair issues with motor controls, including contactors, starters, overloads, relays, and associated wiring.
Troubleshoot and maintain Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), including parameter adjustments, fault code interpretation, wiring checks, and drive replacements.
Troubleshoot faults in PLC controlled machinery by checking field devices, wiring and voltages to trace input to output paths.
Bend, install, and run various types of conduit (EMT, rigid, PVC, flexible) using hand and power benders to precise measurements and codes.
Pull wire, terminate connections, and install electrical components, panels, junction boxes, and fixtures in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and National Electrical Code.
Perform preventive maintenance inspections, testing, and documentation on electrical equipment to minimize downtime.
Use multimeters, megohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to test continuity, voltage, current, insulation resistance, and component functionality.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, one-line diagrams, and equipment manuals to support troubleshooting and installations.
Collaborate with maintenance teams, engineers, and production personnel to resolve equipment issues quickly and safely.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and maintenance activities.
