HX5 is currently seeking a BMC Remedy Architect Principal to support the HNIB-CSCS Division at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA. This role involves integrating BMC products with each other and third-party applications, serving as the primary technical resource for integration points into all EITSM environments, such as Active Directory and AF Directory Services. The architect will troubleshoot architecture BMC technical issues pertaining to F5, Unix, Windows, and Solaris, and work with foundation data for proper implementation to ensure system architecture remains viable. They will articulate in detail the BMC system configurations to support the ETISM Program Requirements and collaborate with cross-organizational engineers from various teams. Understanding the business of IT operations, Business Service Management, and foundational ITIL is crucial. The role requires utilizing skills to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency, defining, writing, and delivering specifications, user guides, and architecture documentation. Responsibilities also include programming, testing, documenting, and implementing systems/software prior to release, researching and providing recommendations for customer problems, and utilizing knowledge of AF RMF to provide artifacts and system remediation for AF Authority to Operate. The architect will also articulate best business practices and streamline system applications and architecture as EITSM migrates to new versions.
