Blue Yonder WMS Techno-Functional Consultant
About The Position
This role involves designing, configuring, and customizing Blue Yonder WMS modules to meet complex warehouse business requirements. The consultant will leverage their deep understanding of MOCA Architecture, including Messaging, Object, and Command Architecture, to work with the command layer that underpins BY WMS logic, scripting, and customization. A key part of the role is managing integrations using APIs, EDI, and middleware tools, connecting WMS with ERP, TMS, and other systems. The consultant will also be responsible for SQL proficiency for data analysis and troubleshooting, maintaining ERP/TMS connectivity, analyzing application code and logs, authoring functional specifications, and supporting WMS deployments.
Requirements
- 5 years hands-on experience with at least 1 full cycle BY WMS implementation.
- Deep understanding of MOCA Architecture (Messaging, Object, Command Architecture).
- Experience with SOAP/REST web services.
- Experience with middleware tools including Boomi.
- 2 years proficient SQL across Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL.
- Experience with ProShip, Labelmaster, or equivalent parcel shipment software.
- Ability to analyze application code, WMS configuration, data, and system logs.
- Ability to author functional design documents, technical specifications, and test scenarios.
- Experience supporting WMS deployments and managing environment changes.

- Experience with Azure SQL.
Responsibilities
- Design and configure Blue Yonder WMS modules to meet complex warehouse business requirements.

- Author functional design documents, technical specifications, and test scenarios.
- Identify and close design gaps across workstreams.
- Support the deployment of software deliveries, including creating rollout scripts.
- Manage changes across development, QA, and production environments.
