This role is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing complex blow mold and production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance. The technician will read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders to diagnose and resolve issues, and respond quickly to equipment and process concerns, prioritizing preventive (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) work. The position involves performing routine preventative maintenance, inspections, and pre-season equipment checks, as well as conducting diagnostics and root cause analysis. The technician will participate in daily maintenance activities, planned shutdowns, overhauls, and deep cleaning events, and follow up on previous repairs to ensure equipment is functioning properly. A clean, safe, and organized work environment must be maintained, adhering to all safety protocols. The role also includes identifying and reporting safety or operational hazards, maintaining appropriate inventory levels of parts, tools, and supplies, and providing updates on workload and project progress. The technician will ensure proper use, care, and maintenance of equipment, tools, and materials, support the development and improvement of maintenance SOPs, and contribute to maintenance planning initiatives. Accurate documentation of all work performed is required, along with performing other related duties as needed.
