Blow Mold Operator - 2nd Shift

About The Position

Supports production needs by setting up, adjusting, cleaning, and operating blow mold equipment. Daily tasks include weight checks, weight adjustments, tooling changes, cleaning, and troubleshooting. The role requires meeting daily production goals and maintaining a clean work area and equipment. The operator will monitor the Alpine, clear jams, and notify material handlers when the alpine becomes full. Operating a bailer and making bails when full is also part of the responsibilities. Communication with lead persons or supervisors regarding issues, and assisting maintenance when equipment is down beyond the operator's scope, are expected. The role adheres to all Safety Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and requires filling out proper documentation.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, General Education Degree (GED), or International Education Equivalent.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively through multiple channels – oral, written, visual, and non-verbal.
  • Ability to take responsibility for actions and anticipate challenges.
  • Ability to solve problems both within and outside of departments, proactively addressing issues as they occur.
  • Ability to prioritize understanding and meeting both internal and external customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Communicating with the lead person or supervisor when issues arise.
  • Assisting Maintenance when equipment is down beyond operator scope.
  • Following all Safety Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Filling out proper documentation required by management.
  • Maintaining a clean work area and equipment.
