About The Position

This position involves operating blow mold machines to produce plastic milk bottles. The role requires monitoring and adjusting machinery, identifying and correcting defects, and ensuring adherence to specifications and safety protocols. The operator will visually inspect bottles, maintain a clean work area, and actively participate in safety initiatives. The position also emphasizes collaboration, continuous improvement, adaptability, and upholding company policies and values.

Requirements

• Manufacturing or production environment.
• Working with hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) requirements.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, monitors, and adjusts multiple blow mold machines to ensure the safe and accurate molding of plastic milk bottles.
• Identifies potential defects and makes adjustments to machinery by HMI screen and physical adjustments as necessary to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Visually inspects all plastic milk bottles for defects.
• Adheres to all company safety procedures and guidelines.
• Uses personal protective equipment.
• Operates machinery and equipment safely.
• Reports any hazards, near misses, injuries, or accidents immediately.
• Actively participates in safety trainings and drills.
• Maintains cleanliness in work areas to prevent accidents.
• Contributes to the continuous improvement of all safety protocols.
• Demonstrates awareness of surroundings to ensure own safety and the safety of others.
• Successfully accomplishes work assignments and prioritizes tasks by utilizing policies and available resources.
• Collaborates effectively with managers, coworkers, and business partners, identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations.
