About The Position
The Blow Mold Operator (2nd shift, M-F, 2:00pm – 10:30pm) is within our Auto/Car Care/Prestone division and is responsible for operating and maintaining blow molding machines to produce high-quality products. This role is located at our Alsip, Illinois facility. The expected compensation for this position is an hourly rate of $25.00 - $30.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications and is bonus eligible.
Requirements
- High School Degree or equivalent.
- Two (2) or more years of experience in a manufacturing facility operating blow molding machines or equivalent.
- Demonstrated mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain blow molding machines
- Perform mechanical troubleshooting to ensure machines are running efficiently
- Monitor production processes and make adjustments as needed
- Perform operator functions such as adjust machine settings and set up molds
- Complete required paperwork for accurate production
- Inspect finished products for quality control
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
