About The Position

Miller-Keystone Blood Center is seeking a Full-time Bloodmobile Driver to join their team in Bethlehem, PA. This role is crucial in supporting the mission of saving lives by facilitating successful blood drives within the community. The driver will be responsible for the transportation, setup, and breakdown of blood drives, as well as interacting with donors and ensuring all documentation is completed accurately. This position offers a competitive hourly wage starting at $17.29/hr, commensurate with experience, and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees.

Requirements

CDL A or B
DOT Medical card
Experience driving a box truck or larger vehicle
Experience in Outlook, Microsoft office and with basic tablets and computers
The ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
Excellent communication (verbal, written, and listening) to engage donors and employees of all backgrounds.
Strong work ethic including attendance, trust, flexibility, and reliability.
A passion to work in a fast-paced environment and handle changing priorities to meet the needs of the blood center.

Responsibilities

Loading vehicles with necessary supplies.
Driving to blood drive locations.
Setting up and assisting with the blood drive.
Packing up equipment and returning to the blood center.
Unloading equipment.
Greeting and assisting donors, visitors, and clients in a friendly yet professional manner.
Providing accurate information, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues promptly and respectfully.
Completing vehicle and blood drive documentation in accordance with company standards.
Performing additional tasks as assigned, including training, becoming familiar with new/updated SOPs, and assisting with special projects.
