About The Position

The Part-time Bloodmobile Driver with CDL position in Bethlehem supports Miller-Keystone Blood Center (MKBC) by facilitating successful blood drives within our community. MKBC saves lives every day by providing blood products to hospitals in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. This role involves loading vehicles with supplies, driving to blood drive locations, assisting with setup and the blood drive itself, then packing up, returning to the blood center, and unloading equipment. The position requires a commitment to supporting the mission of saving lives and working in a healthcare setting.

Requirements

CDL A or B and DOT Medical card required
Experience driving a box truck or larger vehicle preferred
Experience in Outlook, Microsoft office and with basic tablets and computers (preferred)
The ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
Excellent communication (verbal, written, and listening) to engage donors and employees of all backgrounds
Strong work ethic including attendance, trust, flexibility, and reliability
A passion to work in a fast-paced environment and handle changing priorities to meet the needs of the blood center
Background checks and drug screenings are required

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Loading vehicles with necessary supplies
Driving to blood drive locations
Set up and assist with the blood drive
Pack up, return to the blood center and unload equipment
Greeting and assisting donors, visitors, and clients in a friendly yet professional manner
Providing accurate information, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues promptly and respectfully
Completing vehicle and blood drive documentation in accordance with company standards
Perform additional tasks as assigned, including training, becoming familiar with new/updated SOP's, and assisting with special projects as needed
