About The Position

The Team Member will report to Live Production and travel to assigned farms to collect blood samples from poultry in accordance with Tyson Foods animal welfare, biosecurity, and laboratory sampling procedures. The individual is responsible for obtaining the required number of samples, ensuring proper collection techniques, and handling specimens with care to maintain sample integrity for serum harvesting and testing. Additional duties may include collecting fat samples for residue testing, weighing birds at designated ages, maintaining accurate records, and preparing samples for transport. The Team Member will travel between farms as needed and must be able to safely operate a vehicle during both day and night hours and in varying weather conditions. The position requires adherence to all company safety, animal welfare, and biosecurity standards. Other duties may be assigned as needed to support Live Production operations.

Requirements

Must have a valid State Driver's CDL License.
Must be 18 years of age.
Must have a valid state driver's license.
No DUI/DWI’s within the last 12 months.
Official MVR record must be checked post-offer and received by Tyson before applicant will be moved into position.
Must have 6 months work history in the last 12 months documented within your application’s work history and/or resume.
Must be able to understand labels, read recipes, follow instructions, and communicate effectively.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. which includes bending and lifting, handling a drill and crank to raise feed lines.
Must be safety conscious at all times.

Nice To Haves

Rehires are subject to a 91 day wait period, determined from their last date of employment, to apply for FRESH PLANT.
Candidates that have worked for Tyson Foods or Tyson Affiliates 3 or more times will not be eligible for rehire.
