About The Position

This position is responsible for processing and consigning blood and blood components. The role involves working evenings, Friday through Tuesday, from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper handling and distribution of blood products to save lives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Must present driving record with zero points and no moving or traffic violations in the past 3 years
• Must be 21 years of age
• Good communication skills and professional demeanor
• Problem-solving ability
• Ability to work well with people

Nice To Haves

• Computer skills preferred

Responsibilities

• Irradiate and label blood and blood components
• Assist with daily inventory rotations
• Prepare and distribute blood and blood components for shipment as appropriate
• Deliver products to customers as needed
• Perform visual inspections of all shipments and returned products
• Perform some component manufacturing duties when needed
