About The Position

Our Component Processing Technicians are responsible for blood product manufacturing to include handling of blood products, quarantine and/or discarding products, working with biohazardous/chemical waste. This position will also prepare and label components and assist with count/maintenance of inventories. No experience? No problem! We provide an extensive on-the-job paid-training program. This is a Full Time position working 3rd Shift, Sunday-Thursday 10:00 p.m.-6:30 a.m., plus on-call and holiday rotation. This position may require the ability to work varied hours including days, evenings, and weekends. Training on 1st shift for several weeks may be required.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalencies
Ability to read and follow set Standard Operating Procedures
Pre-employment background check and drug screen are required

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a medical laboratory, production or manufacturing setting is preferred
