Requirements

A high school diploma or GED
Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills
A current, valid driver’s license with a good driving record; reliable personal transportation may be required in certain locations
Basic computer skills required; proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required.
Lifting, pushing, or pulling heavy weights up and down ramps and stairs
Good manual dexterity
Sitting or standing for long periods of time
Adapting to long, irregular hours and frequent schedule changes
A minimum height of 60 inches (required to safely operate Red Cross vehicles)

Nice To Haves

Prior healthcare or phlebotomy experience (CNA, MA, EMT, etc.)
Prior leadership experience
Retail, hospitality, food service, military service, or other people-focused roles

Responsibilities

Transport and set up equipment to turn everyday spaces into professional donation centers.
All staff work as a team to set up and tear down the equipment required to conduct a mobile blood drive.
Welcome donors, listen to their stories, and help them feel comfortable and valued.
Perform safe, high-quality blood collections once fully trained in phlebotomy techniques.
Follow all safety procedures and regulatory requirements to ensure every donation meets quality standards and can be safely transfused.
Leave each site knowing the blood collected today could reach a patient within days.
