About The Position

Impact Life is looking for dedicated, motivated individuals to be an integral part of their Inventory Management and Distribution (IMD) team. The IMD team is responsible for the coordination, distribution, and delivery of biologic products to the clients they serve. The IMD Supervisor will oversee daily operations while working as part of the IMD team. Supervisors perform all functions associated with IMD, such as communicating with partner hospitals regarding inventory and patient needs, inventory reconciliation, product distribution, and ensuring quality standards.

Requirements

• High school competencies plus an additional 2 years of formal preparation is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer service or inventory management is preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a supervisory/management role is preferred.
• Experience in blood or pharmaceutical inventory management/hospital customer relations/logistics is preferred.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills in dealing with all levels of customers and staff (paid and volunteer).
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
• Working knowledge of computers.
• Valid driver’s license.
• REAL ID.
• Ability to operate Blood Center vehicles.
• Ability to stand, sit, and maintain regular and reoccurring physical exertion such as reaching, bending, and lifting for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Pre-employment drug screen, background check and MVR report are required.

Responsibilities

• Support department and MVRBC initiatives.
• Oversee assigned staff including counseling, scheduling, and payroll duties.
• Troubleshoot to resolve issues within compliance of SOPs, including logistics and delivery of optimal customer service.
• Participate in preparation of departmental budget and benchmarking.
• Monitor departmental and customer inventory management.
• Validate processes and equipment.
• Develop and oversee departmental training.
