About The Position

The Block Parts Cleaner is responsible for cleaning and preparing blocks for use in production. This entry-level position plays an important role in maintaining cleanliness and quality standards, ensuring that all blocks are properly processed and ready for the next stage of the production workflow.

Requirements

Has a high school diploma or GED.
Possesses the ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Can demonstrate strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
Is able to work in a warehouse or industrial manufacturing setting.
Is comfortable with exposure to loud noise, moving mechanical parts, and industrial cleaning chemicals.
Must be able to pass a drug screening, medical physical and, if applicable, visual testing.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in physically demanding conditions, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
Comfortable working in environments with temperature fluctuations, noise, and potential exposure to fumes or airborne particles.
Can wear Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, goggles, or respirators.
Perform frequent physical activity, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and standing.
Must be comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Operating sanding belt equipment in accordance with safety and quality standards.
Accurately weighing and measuring blocks to ensure compliance with specifications.
Performing routine weekly preventive maintenance on assigned machinery.
Supporting production operations by performing additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
