About The Position
The Blending Technician completes daily scheduled blending and oversees the cleaning and sanitation of the production areas.
Requirements
- Function independently as well as actively participate in a team environment
- Fast, accurate, and detailed in a fast-moving environment
- Prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Able to lift objects up to 55 pounds repeatedly throughout the day
- Use of appropriate logs and procedures for Shipping and Receiving, Raw Material Testing, Ingredient Blending, Ingredient Storage, Allergen Segregation and Handling, Glass and Brittle Plastics, GMP, Production-Area Sanitation and Cleaning
- GMP
- Forklift Operator Certification
Responsibilities
- Complete daily blending as scheduled
- Generate, maintain, and implement cleaning and sanitation schedules for production area(s)
- Prepare retain samples of finished products for QC
- Assist in preparing finished orders for shipping as necessary
- Assist in receiving incoming materials as necessary
- Assist in organizing, cleaning, and maintaining warehouse and production areas
- Assist in line operations as needed
