About The Position

Leonardo DRS Land Systems is seeking a Blaster to join their team in West Plains, MO. This role is responsible for producing quality work to prescribed standards, ensuring adherence to safety procedures, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The Blaster will read and interpret manufacturing processes and blueprints, and properly log work activities. This is a full-time position with a 4/10 work schedule, Monday through Thursday.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED

Responsibilities

Responsible and accountable for producing quality work to prescribed standards, with a focus on continuous improvement to meet customer commitments on schedule and within budget
Follow written work instructions must maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety procedures including those which govern the handling of materials, chemicals, tools, and equipment
Properly use required PPE
Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
Know all safety requirements including proper plant ventilation standards (respirator usage, no smoking, use of safety glasses, etc)
Properly log in and out on assigned jobs and complete appropriate paperwork
Read and interpret manufacturing processes, blueprints and other work instructions
Completely maintain and clean up equipment, blast booth and booth area
